We are committed to playing our part in promoting and supporting Family Learning and Study Support as a part of a Lifelong Learning strategy to achieve a vision for all communities to become a better and fairer place to live in and which has a stronger and brighter future.

 

We want learning to become a normal and valued part of people’s lives, removing the anxiety and fear of failure which many people associate with education.  We want people to feel excited by learning and provide routes to further progression.

 

We believe the learning solutions we advocate help build strategic partnerships with individuals, schools and other learning organisations who have the same core values and who can provide a context within which lifelong Learning can flourish. 

 

The core values place the learner at the centre of all activity:

We have already begun the exciting task of involving whole communities in developing a varied programme of learning activities that will meet the needs and demands of young people both now and in the future. 

We recognise that schools and other learning centres have a key role in engaging children, young people and families in the community in raising standards of achievement.  We work closely with partners to ensure the step-change in performance necessary to provide the very best learning opportunities for all people who need, or demand them.
